ALERT

The final week of February, 2019 (Feb. 25 - Mar 1), iLab Operations Software will be conducting an internal event and will be staffed at significantly reduced levels. iLab Support will prioritize critical issues first (i.e. issues that prevent key workflows from completing) and to escalate an issue, please add "Urgent" to the ticket/ email subject or press "1", when prompted, on the iLab Support phone (regional numbers can be found here). Regular support tickets will be monitored periodically and processed in order of submission starting March 4th, 2019. During this time, you can also refer to the iLab Help Site and iLab Status Page for site information. Please note that this will not affect standard Core Facility Operations.

Proteomics and Mass Spectrometry Core Facility

Overview of Services

We provide support for faculty and student researchers at Princeton University, as well as investigators at other institutes and private companies.  The facility has a growing number of mass spectrometers and support equipment that allows us to customize projects to your needs. We are located in Lewis Thomas Laboratory, Room 016.  We are willing to: work with you during the planning and protocol development stages; help you understand the results obtained; and help during manuscript preparation when publishing your results.

In addition to our fee-for-services, we offer several instruments in an open access format.  Staff members will train new users of instruments in one-on-one sessions or small groups.  All users are required to demonstrate satisfactory knowledge of instrument operation prior to unsupervised use of the instrument.  Usage is scheduled and monitored.  Time on the instruments is charged, which varies by the instrument.

Acknowledgement

We appreciate that you have chosen our facility to conduct your study and would like to remind you to add a statement to acknowledge the Proteomics and Mass Spectrometry Core Facility in your publications and presentations.
